Off to College!
Hey, just wanted to drop in and mention that I've finally started school/college. My classes start tommorow. And so pages may come somewhat... slower? I know I don't update a lot as it is, but I've been very busy getting READY to come here, and now that I'm here, I have work to do, ha ha.
However, I'm still doing lots of work on this. I've been sketching, writing, and finishing up the latest page. (I've also recently got a deviantart account, so you can keep track of some of my artwork (both Memoria and non-Memoria) there).
You can bet on an new page sometime this week, and hopefully more as the semester progresses. Wish me luck!

Yatta!
It's done! Finally redesigned the entire site, no more smackjeeves default template. I feel better already. >_<
Also, I'm working on the next page as we speak. I've also got several different real life commisions going on, so I don't know when it'll get done; but it WILL happen. Promise!
I'd also like to remind everyone that crit is still definetely welcome! Short Stories is a true WIP, and I'm hoping to continue to improve with each storyline, maybe even with each panel, ha ha. So please, feel free to comment!

Return of Memoria; kind of.
Hi. Again. Seems like I can't keep away from comic creation, no matter how hard I try, ha ha.
After some time away, I've finally decided to start REALLY honing my skills. I never really gave up on Memoria; but I realized my skill level, both with story telling and with art, simply weren't good enough to really make Memoria what I wanted it to be. I decided to keep trying and practicing, but most stories I've written outside of MEM didn't really hold my interest, and were usually discarded within a few days.
Which is why I'm working here now.
Memoria is a complicated place, and has been built up for a long time in my head, setting by setting, character by character. And as much as I want to include all those little details that make the world pop, Memoria would have been way too long and drawnout (and therefor sucky :P). But it seems a shame to let some of those things go in the process, so instead they'll be showcased here.
Characters whose stories would have otherwise been neglected or completely outside of Memoria will now get a (small) amount of love. And I get the practice I (sorely) need. It's kind of a win win situation, for now.
I can't promise that any of the short stories will be finished, or that this will be updated on schedule, but that's okay. This is all about practice and getting better; and eventually making Memoria a nicer peice of work.
